1st Place —
DOST Startup Incubation 🥇

My team won 1st place in the DOST Startup Incubation program. Academically and competitively, this year gave me some of my most defining moments. Looking back — worth it lahat.

1st place. The moment we knew all those iterations were worth it.

What DOST Startup Incubation was

The DOST Startup Incubation program isn't just a competition — it's a process. A rigorous, months-long journey where your idea is stress-tested, refined, challenged, and rebuilt. You don't just present a pitch; you develop a product, validate a market, and defend every decision you've made.

My team went through multiple iterations, late nights, and honest conversations about what was working and what wasn't. The program pushed us to think like founders — not just students with a project idea.

Winning didn't happen because we had the flashiest idea. It happened because we listened — to mentors, to potential users, to each other — and we kept improving. Iteration is underrated.

The team behind the win

This isn't a solo achievement, and I want to be clear about that. Our team carried this together. Every member brought something essential — whether it was the technical depth, the business sense, the design instinct, or the ability to articulate our vision under pressure.

Walking into the final presentation knowing we'd prepared down to the smallest detail — that confidence is something we built collectively, and it showed.

Worth it lahat

2025 was the year I proved — to myself, to my team, to the panel of judges — that the work we put in produces real results. 1st place in DOST Startup Incubation sits alongside Gawad Batang Bayani as proof that this year, despite how heavy it was, was also one of my most successful.

The exhaustion was real. The reward was realer.
