Most Active Governance Awardee —
Gawad Batang Bayani 2025 🏆

Despite everything 2025 threw at me, our organization got recognized as Most Active Governance Awardee. One of my proudest moments — proof that all the late nights, the events, the pressure, was absolutely worth it.

Standing on that stage — I thought about every exhausting night that led to this.

What Gawad Batang Bayani means

Gawad Batang Bayani is not a small recognition. It's a testament to consistent, meaningful service — to showing up for the student body even when it wasn't convenient, even when the effort went unseen. Being named Most Active Governance Awardee meant that our work didn't go unnoticed. It was validated.

I've been in student governance long enough to know that most of the work is invisible. The planning, the follow-ups, the behind-the-scenes decisions — nobody claps for those. But when an award like this lands, it feels like an acknowledgment of everything that happened in the dark.

This award wasn't mine alone. Every member who showed up, every officer who sacrificed their time — this belongs to all of us. I just got to hold the trophy.

The nights before this moment

I think back on the late nights spent preparing events, coordinating with different offices, handling the administrative work of governance while also managing my own academics and personal load. There were moments it felt pointless. Moments I questioned if all the effort was translating into anything real.

And then: Gawad Batang Bayani 2025. Most Active Governance Awardee. That question got answered.

What it means going forward

This recognition doesn't mark an end — it marks a standard. A reminder of what's possible when a team believes in what they're doing and refuses to coast. I want to carry that standard into everything that comes next.

Proud. Grateful. And ready for more.
